The cedarwood really grounds the rose and mandarin, so it doesn't feel like a typical floral lotion. It sinks in quickly and leaves my hands soft without any greasy film, which is exactly what I wanted for daytime use.

I was skeptical about rose-heavy lotions, but the mandarin keeps it bright and fresh instead of powdery, and it sinks in fast without leaving my hands greasy. The scent lingers subtly on my skin for hours, which feels more like a light perfume than a basic moisturizer.

The cedarwood comes through more on the skin than in the bottle, which I actually prefer—it keeps the floral notes from getting too sweet. Absorbs quickly without that greasy film, though I do wish the scent lingered a bit longer after a few hours.
