The rum and tonka combo hits first, rich and almost sweet, but it’s that vetiver smoldering underneath that keeps me sniffing my wrist hours later. Wore it to a dinner party and caught myself distracted by my own sleeve. Feels like a secret in a bottle.
I was nervous that vetiver would be too smoky for me, but it settles into something warm and almost powdery after an hour. The chocolate and tonka give it a sweetness that feels like a secret, not a dessert. I’ve worn it late into the evening and it still had a soft presence at 2 a.m.
The rum and tonka come through rich and dark right away, but that vetiver really does linger for hours like the description promises. I wore it to a late dinner and caught whiffs of it well past midnight, which felt exactly like the "behind closed doors" mood.
